BJP Demands Transparency on Rahul Gandhi's Foreign Trips

On Wednesday, C.R. Kesavan, the national spokesperson for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), expressed concerns regarding transparency from Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, particularly about his foreign trips. In a post on X, Kesavan noted that after a lengthy period abroad, Gandhi has finally decided to return to India. However, the secrecy surrounding his international travels raises significant concerns. He accused Gandhi of evading transparency and accountability.

 

Kesavan emphasized that Gandhi should clarify details about his foreign journeys to the public. He stated that as the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, the citizens and the nation have the right to expect transparency regarding his undisclosed travels. The mystery surrounding these trips fosters serious doubts about where he has been, whom he has met, and what his agenda entails.

 

Furthermore, Kesavan alleged that during some of these foreign trips, Gandhi was seen in the company of individuals he has labeled as anti-India and hostile towards the nation. He claimed that these questions arise because Gandhi has often been spotted associating with people and forces that openly oppose India and promote an anti-India agenda. Gandhi frequently advises others not to fear.

 

In conclusion, Kesavan questioned why Gandhi and the Congress party are hesitant to disclose information about these trips. He asked, if there is nothing to hide, why are they afraid to share details about their foreign travels?
