The Himachal Pradesh branch of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has established two significant committees: the Charge Sheet Committee and the Public Movement Committee. These committees are designed to highlight the alleged failures, broken promises, and corruption of the current Congress government, which the BJP claims has not served the public effectively.

According to State BJP President Dr. Rajeev Bindal, the Congress administration has let down the citizens during its three-and-a-half-year rule, leading to a halt in development and an economic crisis in the state. He stated, “The Congress government will be surrounded and its fortifications will be dismantled,” emphasizing the BJP's commitment to reaching out to every village and household to address the government's shortcomings and initiate a robust public movement focused on issues vital to Himachal Pradesh.

The Charge Sheet Committee is responsible for compiling a comprehensive report on the government's failures. This committee includes prominent figures such as Dr. Rajeev Bindal, Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, MP and former Union Minister Anurag Thakur, along with Rajya Sabha MPs Prof. Sikander Kumar and Harsh Mahajan, and several MLAs including Satpal Singh Satti, Randhir Sharma, Vikram Thakur, Sudhir Sharma, Balbir Verma, Trilok Jamwal, and former MLA Rajendra Rana, in addition to BJP General Secretary Payal Vaidya.

The Public Movement Committee will focus on organizing statewide awareness initiatives, protests, and outreach efforts. This committee also features Dr. Bindal, Jai Ram Thakur, MPs Suresh Kashyap, Dr. Rajeev Bhardwaj, Kangana Ranaut, and MLAs Vipin Singh Parmar, Pawan Kajal, Vinod Kumar, Rakesh Jamwal, and D.S. Thakur, along with senior leaders Govind Singh Thakur, Dr. Rajeev Saizal, Bihari Lal Sharma, and Rashmidhar Sood.

Dr. Bindal reiterated that the BJP's efforts are not just political maneuvers but a mass movement aimed at safeguarding the interests of Himachal Pradesh and restoring public trust. The official announcement regarding the establishment of both committees was made by State Office Secretary Pramod Kumar.
