Thankfully, she kept her cool after lunch and scored her century in the first over. It feels incredibly honorable to see her name on the honours board," Garima expressed.
Yastika's father, Harish Bhatia, echoed the sentiment, stating that her century at Lord's was a significant moment for their family. "It was a wonderful feeling. After an eight to nine-month break, she returned to play and scored a century against England at Lord's, leading India to victory in that Test match. It was a proud moment for us all. It marked a pivotal point for her confidence and career. We were all anxious, our hearts racing... It was a significant milestone for a female cricketer to score a century in her first match at Lord's; seeing her name on the honours board was truly wonderful for us," Harish said.
